Unique Fundraising Product
So often, products that are sold to raise funds for charities or non-profit organizations aren't very unique. Our collectibles are quite unique and hand made in the USA. On top of that, they are priced low enough to make it easy for a potential customer to make a "split second decision" when deciding whether to buy or not. Two-Tier Affiliate Program
Our affiliate program is a two-tier commission program. "Two-tier" means you make money when you personally sell something on holidayboosters.com and you also make money on the sales of people who have signed up as affiliates as a result of visiting the site through your affiliate URL. We pay 20% of collected revenue on the first tier and 5% on the second tier.

Two Types of Affiliate Accounts
We have two types of affiliate accounts, "Free" and "Premium." The Free Account is just like any other affiliate program on the internet. You sign-up, place your affiliate link on your website and you're done.

The Premium Account is the same thing except you get one more very important feature. We assign you your own domain name that you can use to promote your affiliate link. For example, if you go to www.booster2.com, you will be automatically redirected to holidayboosters.com. However, if a visitor comes to our site through booster2.com, the affiliate that is assigned to booster2.com will receive the commission. So, it's just like using your affiliate link only much shorter and easier for people to memorize. A Premium Account is a great way to promote holidayboosters.com off-line because it's easier to remember.

Memory Is Key
This brings me to off-line marketing. Almost anyone with internet access is a potential customer. What if you had business cards made up with a picture of a Booster Santa and your Premium Account domain name and a tag line that said something like "Custom Designs Available" or something like that? (We'll provide you the artwork for this. All you have to do is send it to your card printer or use it to print your own cards.)

Premium Affiliates
Premium Affiliate Accounts are $30 a year. This includes registration of the domain name, setting up the affiliate forwarding ability, one year of hosting and one email address @ the domain you are assigned. If at the end of the first (and subsequent years) you have 10 first-tier sales, we will waive the annual renewal fee.

If you do not have 10 first-tier sales at the end of each year, you can choose to pay the $30 fee again, or you can let the Premium Account lapse. You will still be an affiliate, but you'd have to use a free affiliate URL to promote your affiliate account.

Strict Guidelines on Premium Accounts
If you become a Premium Account member you will not own the domain you receive as part of the account. You will simply be renting it from us until such time as you fail to meet the minimums or choose to not renew your annual Premium Account fee (if minimum is not met.)

This will sound harsh and a bit dictatorial, but if you choose to bypass our Premium Account option and purchase a domain yourself and then forward it to your affiliate URL, your affiliate account will be terminated without notice and any commissions due to you will be paid to your upline sponsor if you have one.

If you don't have one, the money will be donated to a charity of my choice. I do this because I need to protect the integrity of our trademark and have complete control over how we are perceived to the general public. It's not a money issue, it's an image control issue.

Also, when signing up for a Premium Affiliate Account you will not be able to request what domain it is you receive. It will be easily remembered and it will have the word "booster" or other related word in it. That's all I can tell you.

Ideas for Promoting
The best and brightest idea is to have business cards made up and basically place them anywhere you can. I've seen people go down their neighborhood streets at night and place cards on the driver side above the door handle in between the window and the windowsill. It's a perfect time to do it since no one is out and you can do it in your off time.

Of course, the easiest place to sell our Booster collectibles is in and around your local college(s) or high schools. If you can arrange a fundraiser with a school, we'll be glad to work with them directly. The school would be the first tier affiliate and would actually receive even more of a commission than 20% because they would order in bulk. They'd take orders and then place one big order and so, depending on how many they order at one time, they could receive up to 40% of the retail sales as commission. As the person who brought them to us, you'd receive a 5% commission on all their sales (or you can choose to donate your part as well.) If you got 10 schools or organizations around your area to sell just 100 Booster collectibles, you'd make $1800 just for referring them to us.

You can sell them to professionals as well. Professionals can order custom Boosters as a Christmas gift for their best clients. We can paint the client's last name on the Boosters (or anything they want.)

You can purchase ads in magazines and newspapers. Put your cards in stores or restaurants. You can buy billboard space, have roadside signs made and nail up to telephone poles (be responsible and take them down when in disrepair... etc) and the list goes on and on. 

The ideas are limitless. Remember, this is a "Made in the USA" collectible selling for a very reasonable $36-$40 and can be painted to the specification of the customer. There is a HUGE market for this type of one-of-a-kind Christmas gift. Your imagination is the only limit.

We use a very sophisticated affiliate software script (called Ultimate Affiliate) to track all your sales. You'll always be able to see exactly how your sales are going as well as the sales of affiliates that might have signed up under you. You also receive an email whenever you earn a commission.
